Founded by Jehan-Jacques Blancpain in 1735 in the Swiss Jura Mountains, Blancpain is simply the world’s oldest Swiss watch. More than two and a half centuries later, Blancpain still creates its mechanical handmade timepieces in Le Brassus the historical centre of traditional complicated watch making.

Blancpain was the first to have made the six complications in one timepiece: The moon phase, the perpetual calendar, the ultra-thin case, the Tourbillon, the split seconds chronograph and the minute repeater.
